We are working on FITS Liberator 3.0 to be released by the end of September 2010 - we are after 6 years of Photoshop dependency going to break out and make a standalone version. Workaround: Navigate to the folder in Finder, and drag and drop the folder into the navigation window. Problem: When trying to open a new FITS file you cannot navigate into subfolders which are shown as inactive. Workaround: Install FITS Liberator manually using the guide Problem: After installing FITS Liberator on OS X, the FITS Liberator application does not appear in the Applications folder.
